APPROVED EXPORTER

Following all of the hard work by Zak Graham (ITC) on our application back in January, we are now recognised by HMRC as an Approved Exporter. This allows us to make Invoice declarations of origin without the need for an external accredited entity to authorise it. Basically, we don’t need as much paperwork to export anymore and the paperwork required from us does not need to be checked by anyone other than ourselves.

Benefits:
• Reduces the workload of the Customer Service and Despatch teams.
• Reduces the time it takes to process certain exports by 1 day.
• CTD will save money by not having to pay for expensive Certified documents.
• Certain companies within the Nidec Group will save money on Import Duties.

This authorisation brings us one step closer to becoming an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) which is a recognition by HMRC that we are working for at the highest level of Trade Compliance. Although, we still have a long way to go!

CUSTOMER VISIT - SOLFOX (FINLAND)

In May we saw a visit for our new distributor in Finland, a company called SolFox. This company is made up from experienced Servo Engineers that have worked for many years with CT and CTD products.

The visit was to allow the SolFox team to see the improvements in the plant, get an idea of all the new developments and give them the confidence to go out and get new business.

With SolFox we have 2 new customers lined up to visit, with around 5 million Euro worth of business, and we will be visiting soon, along with CTD being a key part of their up and coming exhibition.

All in all a very successful visit.

SALES PARTNERS SURVEY RESULTS

Along side an internal employee questionnaire, to continuously improve our performances in our market, CTD’s marketing department also conducted a survey through our sales partners.

The purpose of the survey was to obtain their opinion about our company, our products and our services in order to identify our positioning in the motion market, determine our strengths and to capitalise on them and detect any areas of improvement, to increase our performance.
